Let's face it, we Americans are generally an overweight society. Love those cheese fries, love dem so-dee pops!

In Japan, they recognize an American girl tourist by spotting the muffintops.

What is a muffintop?

It is that tidbit of fat that squelches over lowrise tight jeans or a skirt, displaying a peek of belly.

I told my daughter. She wrote an endearing homage to our culture.

MUFFINTOPS

Dancing, Dancing,
Tight little bottoms
See them in the café
Giggle, giggle, fatties,
Wrappers are too small or
They're on too tightly
Find larger cups
So they fit them rightly
Hanging over tops
They're just so nasty
Fit the larger cups
And make them tasty
Silly, silly muffin tops
Fix them nicely.
